• Born in: (1958 ), (Shahrezour) region, affiliated to the (Halabja) governorate in the Kurdistan region
o A graduate of University of Baghdad, in (1979 )
o Master's degree in Islamic thought, Imam Al-Awza'i University, Beirut, in (2009 )
o PhD in Islamic Studies, at the same university, in (2013 )
o Founding member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars
o Founding member of the Global Forum for Moderation
o Founding member of the Kurdish Islamic League
o Founding member of the Global Forum of Islamic Parliamentarians
o Founding member of the Islamic Writers Association
o Member of the Supreme Executive Council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union
